Quarterback Quincy Carter arrested for nothing

(KSLA) - Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings Quarterback Quincy Carter found himself in trouble with the law Friday.

Carter was arrested and charged with second offense possession of marijuana Friday morning, which is a felony. Carter was stopped around 1 am and the officer smelled alcohol on him. He then took him for a breathalyzer test.

Carter was found not to be driving drunk, but police say he did have about three grams of marijuana in his pants.

Revenue cops need to leave people alone. The man was not driving drunk. He was not infringing upon the liberties of anyone. It does not say why he was pulled over in the first place. Probably because he is black and was out late at night. Now he has a felony charge, yet he has essentially done nothing wrong. Possession of 3-grams worth of plant material. Big deal.
